Iola Scouts teamed up with the Iola Elks Lodge Sunday for a Flag Day ceremony, where Elks members spoke about the history of the flag, while the Scouts provided the color guard, and then retired an aging flag.
Also on hand were Iola firefighters, who displayed a giant American Flag from the top of its ladder truck.
