Harvey Rogers of Iola, left, and Walter Littleton of Fort Scott received Quilts of Valor Saturday in recognition of their military service.
Rogers attained the rank of 1st Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He served from 1953 to 1955 in Korea, followed by a 38-year stint with the National Guard. Littleton was also a 1st Sergeant in the Army, serving from 1962 to 1965 in the Dominican Republic and 28 years with the National Guard.
The quilts are made by members of the Quilts of Valor Foundation. Kathi Lunday of the Pittsburg chapter presented the quilts to Rogers and Littleton.
