Iola Middle School eighth-graders contributed 197 food items this month to donate to the Iola Community Pantry. This is the second straight year students collected food under the direction of science instructor Karl Sherman. With the food drive in the rear view mirror, the students will begin collecting toys to donate to Humanity House for Christmas.
