ARMA — Neither Yates Center High’s boys or girls teams did much scoring early in their respective contests at Northeast High Friday.
Their defenses, however, were top notch.

In girls action, Yates Center limited the host Vikings to three points in the third quarter to register a 33-30 victory.
“It was a good win,” Wildcat girls head coach Abbie Collins said. “We need to build on that and keep getting better.”
