The Three Rivers League has announced its all-league teams for its 8-man and 11-man divisions. The teams were littered with local talent from Marmaton Valley, Crest and Yates Center.
Marmaton Valley running back Trevor Wilson and center Jake Kale led the 8-man first-team offense. Behind Kale, Wilson was able to accumulate 717 yards and 10 touchdowns on 114 carries this season.
The first-team defense features several Lancers.
Junior Tavyn Springston earned first-team defensive back honors. He intercepted four passes for the Lancer defense.
Nik Peterson was a unanimous selection at linebacker. The junior had 25 solo tackles this season.

Hayden Seabolt led Crest with seven sacks and that earned the junior a first-team defensive line selection. He also had eight tackles for loss.
“I’m very proud of all the recognition our boys received this year,” Crest coach Chuck Mahon said. “It was a very up and down year as we ended up 4-5, but we have a lot to build on as we only lose three seniors.”
The Lancers had five players make the honorable mention selections, including Seabolt and Peterson. Peterson rushed for 10 touchdowns and Seabolt caught four touchdowns.
Austin Louk started at center for the Lancers and earned an honorable mention spot. Mahon calls Louk his “most consistent lineman.”
John Hartman also earned an honorable mention selection as an offensive lineman. Hartman took over as a starter in Week Three but was still able to make an impression on opposing league coaches.
Junior Kadyn Utley rounded out the Crest honorees and was placed on the honorable mention special teams.
Marmaton Valley quarterback and defensive back Justice Pugh was named as an honorable mention selection on both offense and defense. The junior passed for 336 yards and ran for 253 more while accounting for 10 total touchdowns.
Brock Hall made the team as a tight end and defensive back. He finished with 167 yards receiving and two touchdowns. He also had two interceptions.
Tony Jefferies made the honorable mention list as a guard and linebacker.
Wilson and Kale were also selected to the linebacking corps and defensive line respectively.

Yates Center placed five players on the all-league 11-man team.
