Its nerve-wracking, Yates Center head coach Kari King said. In that first set we attacked the ball, we passed well and we got our serves in. We struggled to do those things in the last two sets which is sometimes hard to watch but we fought through it and came out with a win which was good.
Individual stats were unavailable for Yates Center after the match but Marmaton Valley was led by senior Patricia Outlan who had nine kills, three blocks and eight points in the win. Junior Bailey Griffith had 12 kills, a block and nine points. Karlie Stephens had three kills.
