Yates Center had there girls basketball season come to an end as they fell 61-12 to Sedan,
“It’s never easy going on the road for the first round of the post season, especially when it a long trip,” Yates Center coach Jason Graf said. “ I felt we came out and played hard just didn’t have bounces of the ball go our way.”
Now that the season has wrapped up, the goal for Graf is to build the program further in the offseason.
“With the end of a season comes time to reflect and plan the future of the program,” Graf said. “We will meet with each potential returning player this week and recap the season while making individual plans for the off-season.”
The tough first round match up certainly did Yates Center no favors.
“Sedan did some nice things and their press really bothered us,” Graf said. “They are a well coached team and you can tell why they are the 1 seed.”
