Lake Garnett Sporting Club will host a Women on Target shooting clinic for women. The NRA- sanctioned event is 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 6. Shooters of all skill levels are welcome.
Staff will introduce women to the sport of recreational shooting. Participants will be instructed on safety and will be able to shoot a variety of firearms: handguns, rifles, shotguns, air rifles, black powder rifles and archery. Women who would like to participate should get their reservations in early; there is room for only 30 participants.
