Area high school basketball games were postponed for tonight because of the wintry weather.
Most have not set a makeup date.
Iola High’s Fillies and Mustangs were to have hosted Chanute High’s Blue Comet teams in Southeast Kansas League play.
That means Iola will be back on the road Friday in SEK play at Parsons.
The IHS wrestling team had its Southeast Kansas League double dual with Parsons and Columbus at Columbus postponed for the second time.
It had been slated for Jan. 11 then snowed out. Columbus High’s Titans have not wrestled in SEK action yet this season.
