OSWEGO — Host Oswego proved to be a most inhospitable host Friday to Marmaton Valley.

The Indians erupted for 22 second-quarter points expanding an 8-0 lead to 30-0 by halftime.

Two more touchdowns in the third quarter put an end to Oswego’s 50-0 victory.

The defeat drops Marmaton Valley to 0-2.

Marmaton Valley accumulated 33 yards of rushing on the night.

Will Lowder had 32 yards receiving and 12 yards rushing. Wes Lowder followed with 11 yards and Garrett Henderson rushed for 10 yards, while completing 2 of 6 passes for 37 yards.

Oswego put up 215 rushing yards and was successful on all five pass attempts, covering another 81 yards. The Indians also recorded a punt return touchdown.

After a painful start to the season with two road defeats, Marmaton Valley hosts Sedan in its home-opener Friday.
