FORT SCOTT — Marmaton Valley High sent several athletes to the Fort Scott High JV Invitational track meet Tuesday.
Kurtis LaRue went because he missed a varsity meet earlier this season. LaRue won the 110-meter high hurdles in 16.94 seconds. He took fourth in the 100-meter dash in 11.97 seconds.
LaRue was first in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles in 43.94. Teammate Chase Dudley ran sixth in the race in 52.14 seconds.
Lydia Lance claimed second in the long jump with a leap of 13 feet, 5 1/2 inches. Rachel Boyd was third in the shot put with a toss of 26’10”.
