BURLINGTON — Marmaton Valley High’s Wildcats and Uniontown High’s Eagles competed at the Waverly High Invitational track team held in Burlington Monday.
Marmaton Valley’s Zach Louk won the boys’ 1600-meter run in 4 minutes, 43 seconds. He also was fourth in the 800 meters in 2:11.
Kelli Wilkinson of Uniontown ran fourth in the girls’ 3200-meter run in 13:49 and Marmaton Valley’s Ashtynn Louk was sixth in 14:30. Wilkinson finished sixth in the 1600-meter run in 6:23.
Marmaton Valley’s Carlos Gonzales placed sixth in the 200-meter dash in 24.58 seconds. Teammate Chase Dudley took the bronze medal in the triple jump with a leap of 40 feet, 2 1/2 inches.
Uniontown’s Trenton Mller was fifth in the boys’ discus with a throw of 125’5”.
