Wildcat volleyball goes 4-1 this week

The Marmaton Valley volleyball team played five matches this week between two meets and they walked away with a respectable 4-1 record.

The Wildcats beat Northeast-Arma and St. Paul at home on Tuesday before traveling to Oswego on Thursday where they beat Caney Valley and Sedan. They were swept by host Oswego.

“The girls finally played ball,” head coach Terra Kegler said after their home meet on Tuesday. “I am very proud of them for stepping it up. I told them there’s a difference in saying you want to win from your actions showing the will to win.”

Marmaton Valley beat Northeast-Arma 25-13, 18-25 and 25-9.
