Wildcat golf earns second place team medals at Uniontown

The Yates Center golf team added another top-three performance to their 2018 resume on Thursday when they finished second at the Union-town Invitational golf meet.

The Wildcats shot a 384 as a team and missed out on first place by just nine strokes.

Freshman Easton Reynolds turned in the tournament’s top score, earning a first-place medal with a 76. The tournament is the third that the freshman has won so far this season.

Sophomore Reece Solander finished right behind in second place with an 81.

Taven Smoot shot a 106 which was good for 18th, Kaden Petit finished 23rd with a 121 and Jaylan Knight finished 24th with a 126.

The Wildcats return to that same course today for the Three Rivers League Tournament.
