UNIONTOWN – Tayler Shook helped the Uniontown High’s Eagles to a 27-10 record this past volleyball season.
Shook moves on at the end of the year. She moves into a college volleyball career as she signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Allen County Community College next year.
“Allen County is a good school, a good volleyball program and it is close to home,” Shook said. “I want to go in there and do my best to help the team be successful.”
Shook the Eagle’s setter and a four-year letterwinner in volleyball. She first team All-Three Rivers League honors.
“We’re very excited to have Tayler becoming a part of the Lady Red Devil family,” said Jessica Peters, ACCC head volleyball coach.
“We are looking forward to what she will contribute to us athletically coming from a successful program and coaching background that Coach (Jackie) Hall has established at Uniontown.”
Peters said she is looking forward to cross training Shook as a defensive specialist and setter so her options for the Red Devils will be versatile.
“We know that Tayler is going to be a positive athlete for us not only on the court but in the classroom as well.”
Shook is the daughter of Tammy and Rick McDaniel. She plans to major in criminal justice.
