Tryouts for Superior Products, an 11-and-under traveling baseball team, and for the Iola Sonic Knights, a 15-and-under traveling baseball team, will be held this weekend at Iola’s Riverside Park.
On Saturday at diamond No. 2 are tryouts for Superior Products. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. and tryouts begin at 9 a.m.
Superior Products is a competitive team. The team expects to play between eight to 10 tournaments with practices starting sometime in late January or early February.
Boys wanting to play on the USSSA AA baseball team cannot be 11 years old before May 1, 2012.

The Knights’ coaches plan to have the team play in eight to 10 tournaments. Practices are slated to begin in late January or early February.
