Tryouts for the 2011 Iola Sonic Knights, a 12-and-under traveling baseball team, will be Aug. 14.
Tryouts start at 8 a.m. on ball diamond No. 2 at Iola’s Riverside park. Players should dress in ball pants, T-shirts and bring ball cleats. They should also bring their own gloves and bats.
