Thursday’s Iola High wrestling competition, originally scheduled as a home meet, has been relocated to Cherryvale.
“Cherryvale wound up without a home meet this season, and they asked if we could let them have this one,” IHS athletics director Martin Bambick said.
Iola agreed, and will join the same opponents — Cherryvale, Erie and Jayawk-Linn.
The Mustangs have another home meet Feb. 6, where they will host Osawatomie and West Elk.
Iola’s junior varsity wrestlers will be at Cherryvale Saturday for a tournament as well.
