Three Rivers All-League announced

Marmaton Valley and Yates Center stars littered the Three Rivers League’s All-League selection for both baseball and softball.
Senior Gavin Dillow headlined the Yates Center selections on the baseball team by being named as a unanimous selection.
Joining Dillow in that elite group was Marmaton Valley senior Justice Pugh. Pugh hit .444 this season with 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
Pugh was also the team’s top pitcher with a 3-4 record and an 8.34 ERA.
Three other Marmaton Valley standouts were selected to the honorable mention team with No. 2 pitcher Lane Bahnsen leading the way. Bahnsen was the team’s No. 2 hitter and finished with a .404 average.
Caiden Elliot and Brock Hall joined Bahnsen on the honorable mention team.
Yates Center sophomore first baseman Aaron King was also an honorable mention selection.

SOFTBALL
The Yates Center and Marmaton Valley softball teams each received one First-Team All-Three Rivers selection.
For Marmaton Valley, sophomore pitcher Karlie Stephens was selected to the team for the second-straight season and earned an unanimous selection.
Stephens was also one of the team’s top hitters this year.
For Yates Center, the future of the program looks bright with freshman pitcher Maddie Collins making the First Team All-League.
Another Yates Center freshman, first baseman Taylor Jacobs, was named as an honorable mention selection and junior Katelynn Jones also made the honorable mention list.
Marmaton Valley junior shortstop Isabelle Bigelow was the team’s lone selection to the honorable mention choices.
All-State softball selections will be released later this summer.
