Area adult and children Special Olympics Bowling teams competed at the Fall Classic State Bowling tournament in Overland Park on Friday.
For the adults, five bowlers finished in first place including Jessica Bacon, Bridgette Eckroat, Charles (Curtis) Holt, June Parrett and Casey Riebel.
Those finishing in second place were Rose Abbe, Judy Branstetter, Brandon Griggs and Steven Riebel while Tom Weide and Justin Conley finished third.
For the children’s ANW Cooperative team, five bowlers finished first including Ethan Bairow, Gavin Doolittle, Dakota Fry, Johnny Henry and Christopher White.
Those finishing in second place were Mary Sunshine Crites, Keegon Hedman, Ty Johnson, Conner Merando, Courtland Sager, Fayth Simpson, Jacob Stokes and Lindsey Yarnell.
Dominick Lubinski and Laura Simpson finished in third place, Corrina Simpson was the lone fourth-place finisher and Page Riley placed fifth.
