Tryouts for Lady Lightning, a 14-and-under softball team, are scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday at Iola’s Riverside Park.
The Lady Lightning will play in tournaments and games in Iola and surrounding places. Tournaments in Kansas City and Wichita also are on the schedule.
Those wishing to try out for the team should go to Diamond No. 4 and should bring a glove and cleats.
A second evening of tryouts is at 6 p.m. Aug. 18, also at Diamond 4.
