The SEK Sluggers, a traveling 12-and-under softball team featuring players from Iola, Moran, Humboldt and Chanute, took home first place last weekend at the VIP Summer Blast Softball Tournament in Olathe. The Sluggers won the tournament with a record of 3-1-1.
