Iola Recreation Youth Flag Football League registration is under way. Forms were distributed to the elementary schools last week as school began.
Flag football is open to all boys and girls in first through fifth grades. Games are played Saturday mornings in the outfield of baseball diamonds No. 2 and No. 3 in Riverside Park.
Games are tentatively scheduled to begin Sept. 18. The season concludes at the end of October.
Registeration fee is $25 per player or $60 per family of three or more players.
Registeration deadline is Sept. 1, which is next Wednesday.
Forms are available at the Iola Recreation office in Riverside Park. Also registration may be done online at cityofiola.com/recreation.html.
