Sellman finishes seventh after a playoff in the state tournament

It came down to the final putt for junior Ryan Sell-man in the 3A state golf tournament in Seneca on Monday.

Sellman clinched a seventh-place finish after being forced into a playoff hole. The three-time state tournament competitor birdied the hole, capped off with a clutch putt and a fist pump celebrating the win.

The junior finished the day with a 77 after shooting a 40 on the opening nine and a 37 on the back nine.

Sellman will be back for his senior year next season along with several other underclassmen Cub golfers.
