Iola Swim Team’s Seahorses hit the home waters in competition Wednesday evening.
The Seahorses had the water churning at the Iola Municipal Pool against visiting Coffeyville. It was the first swim meet of the summer for both teams.
Iola will host three more of its remaining five swim meets this summer. Next week Iola goes to Erie in SEK league competition
Iola hosts Cherryvale on June 20, Chanute on June 27 and Humboldt on July 11. It finishes its regular season at Fort Scott on July 18.
The SEK Swim League Championship meet is July 27-28 at Independence.
