MORAN — Southern Coffey County High’s Aaron Ludolph proved to be too much for handle Friday for Marmaton Valley High’s boys.
Ludolph scored 29 points — most coming from passes inside for open looks at the basket — as the Titans rolled to a 62-48 win.
Marmaton Valley carried a 12-11 lead into the second quarter before the Titans took control with a 20-7 run. Marmaton Valley cut into the 12-point deficit and trailed 43-37 after three periods. But SCC outscored the Wildcats 19-11 to seal the win.
Cole Becker scored 18 points with seven assists to lead the Wildcats. Zach Louk added 12 points with five steals. Landon Hammond added seven points and seven rebounds.
Marmaton Valley travels to Altoona-Midway on Monday in a makeup contest. Southern Coffey County visits Lebo on Tuesday.
