The Iola Riverside Horseshoe Club held the Riverside Open horseshoe pitching tournament May 8.
Dave Mathewson of Gas won the Class A division with Neil Hartwig of Humboldt in third place.
Ken Perry of Topeka took the Class B division. Percy Oliver of Garnett was fourth.
Lawrence Riebel, LaHarpe, captured the Class C division. Kenny Riebel, LaHarpe, was second and Earl Riebel, LaHarpe, was third.
The area club holds its annual Iola Sonic Drive-In Open June 12 at Riverside Park. It is one of the largest horseshoe tournaments in Kansas.
