Riley Stephens earns NJCAA Academic All-America honors

CHANUTE — Riley Stephens, former Uniontown High standout, earned NJCAA Academic All-America honors for 2010.
Stephens, who just finished her sophomore year at Neosho County Community College in Chanute, had a grade point average of 3.6379. Stephens played on the Lady Panther basketball team for two seasons.
She received NCCC de-partment honors in biological science in May.
Stephens, a 2008 Uniontown High graduate, is the daughter of Rick and Lori Stephens, rural Bronson. She is the granddaughter of Wes and Wanda Stephens and Joe Houk, all of Moran.
Stephens will transfer to Emporia State and major in wildlife biology.
