Junior College Golf: Allen County Red Devils
The Allen County golf team wrapped up its season at the district tournament in Broken Arrow, Okla.at The Club at Indian Springs.
The Red Devils competed against six teams, three from Kansas, two from Oklahoma and one from Texas. Allen County finished fifth overall.
Gabe Julo had the best finish on the team, shooting a 231 (80, 70, 81) which was good for 15th.
Julo was tied for eighth-place and was one shot back from potentially earning a bid to the national tournament after two rounds but got tripped up in the final round.
In addition to Julo, Thai Fitzpatrick finished tied for 20th with a 241 (83, 75, 83), Kyle Powelson finished 28th with a 253 (86, 84,
83) and Zach Gibson rounded things out for the Red Devils with a 255 (89, 82, 84).
The Red Devils will lose just two sophomores off of this team heading into the 2019 season.
