PRATT — Allen County Community College’s soccer teams pulled off a sweep of Jayhawk Conference games Tuesday. The wins came on the road.
The Red Devil women defeated host Pratt Community College 4-0. Kayla Besmer pulled off a hat trick — scoring three goals — for the Red Devils. Whitney Coblentz had the other ACCC score.
Caroline Demague, Crystal Jerome and Coblentz each had an assist. Chelsea Reynolds got her second shutout as goalie, stopping five shots.
The ACCC women beat Ranger, Texas, 4-0 to open the season. They lost 5-0 to Forest Park of St. Louis. Mo.
Allen County’s men posted a 3-1 win over Pratt. Matt Searcy scored two goals and had an assist. Christian Rodriguez had a goal and Taylor House had an assist.
Zack Hanks made 12 saves in goal for ACCC.
The Red Devil men lost to Ranger, Texas, 2-1 and beat Forest Park 1-0.
