Iola High’s junior varsity softball and baseball teams played at home Friday but the rain halted action in the first games.
Iola’s junior varsity baseball team beat Pittsburg 4-2 in three innings. Thealvin Minor was the winning pitcher for Iola.
Drew Faulhaber, Tyler Clubine and Tyler Tomlinson each had a single.
Iola High’s track athletes were competing in a meet at Independence. The meet did not get finished.
