PARSONS — Iola Middle School’s eighth-grade volleyball team lost both A-team and B-team matches Monday at Parsons.
The Pony A-team lost in a three-set match. Parsons Middle School won 25-19, 19-25, 15-10.
Taylor Sell had three ace serves and two kills for the Ponies. Joie Whitney served three aces.
McKaylie Cleaver had one ace serve, one kill and one set assists. Reghan Sigg had one ace serve and Ashlie Shields had a kill. Elise Wolf had a set assist.
Parsons took the B-team match 24-19, 25-21. Iola got five ace serves and one kill from Sigg. Cloey Burris had one ace serve and a kill. Blaze Hobbs had two set assists. Bobbi Sinclair had an ace and Abigail Taylor had a kill.
Today, IMS hosts Anderson County.
