CHANUTE — The Iola middle school wrestling team competed in its final tennis meet of the season Monday. The Ponies wrestled in the Kent Frazell Invitational Tournament in Chanute and won 70 percent of their matches with seven first-place finishes, four in second and five in third.
The high school wrestling season begins Dec. 2 vs. Caney Valley.
