Pioneer and Tri-Valley leagues announce All-League hoops

Both Iola and Humboldt High were represented in their respective All-League teams for the just-ended basketball season.

Both the boys and girls teams from Iola and Humboldt High were represented in their respective All-League honors. 

For the Mustangs, senior Cal Leonard and junior Landon Carson were both recognized by the Pioneer League. Leonard earned first team All-Pioneer league while averaging a team high 16 points per game on 43% from the field. Carson claimed second team honors, averaging 13.9 ppg and snagging two steals per contest. 

On the girls side, Becca Sprague was the only Filly to receive recognition from the Pioneer League. Sprague finished with second team All-Pioneer League honors. 

Senior Conor Haviland was the solo Cub to claim All-League honors. Haviland earned a spot on the All-Tri-Valley League  team, averaging a team high 20 ppg. For the Lady Cubs, senior Winter Snyder received All-Tri-Valley League honorable mention honors, and junior Jada Dangerfield earned a spot on the All-Tri-Valley league team.
