COLONY — Olpe High started out on a high note, outscoring the Crest High Lady Lancers 20-10 to start their contest Tuesday.
The visiting Eagles were just getting started. Olpe outscored Crest 28-4 in the second quarter, 23-8 in the third and 14-4 in the fourth of an 86-26 romp.
Scoring for Crest were Karlee Hammond with 10 points, Laurel Godderz with six, Miranda Golden and Emmalee Seabolt with four each and Taryn Covey with two.
The game starts a busy week for the Lady Lancers, courtesy of a pair of earlier weather-prompted postponements, with five games in eight days. Crest hosts Southern Coffey County on Thursday, Marmaton Valley on Friday before traveling to Uniontown Monday and Lebo next Tuesday.
