The U.S. Naval Academy does play home football games at Annapolis, Md. Wording was changed in a story on Iolan Joel Tidd, who is a first-class Midshipman at Navy and in its Drum and Bugle Corps, in Wednesday’s Register.
Navy never plays Notre Dame at Annapolis. Navy’s home games against Notre Dame are played in cities with larger stadiums. The 2012 Navy-Notre Dame football game — which is a home game for Navy — is Sept. 1 in Dublin, Ireland.
The Register regrets the error.
