1. Streak, broken!

Clint Bowyer was so excited about snapping a nagging 190-race losing streak, he nearly wiped out his No. 14 Ford in Turn 3 of the cool-down lap. “Finally to get the No. 14 in Victory Lane is just a weight off the shoulders,” he said. “You start to question if you can get it done or not.”

2. Mr. Second Place

For most any driver, three second-place finishes over four consecutive starts would be big news. Not for Kyle Busch. “I wouldn’t say it’s one particular thing that we can pinpoint, we’ve just been beat by somebody kind of hitting it a little bit more than we have,” Busch said with a shrug.

3. Snow day

The NASCAR Cup Series took a rare snow-day off Sunday. Martinsville Speedway was full of white powder, making it impossible to race. The last time NASCAR had to postpone a race for snow was all the way back to 1993 when Atlanta was blanketed by spring flakes.
