MVJH track athletes deal with rain at Iola meet

Marmaton Valley Junior High brought home several medals before rain cut short Monday's track meet in Iola. The meet was one of two featuring the young Wildcat thinclads this week.

Rainy weather cut short Monday’s Terry Lower Invitational Track Meet in Iola, but not before Marmaton Valley Junior High brought in several lofty finishes. (Iola’s results were posted in Wednesday’s Register)

Eighth grade boys

400 meters — 2. Cooper Scharff, 58.20; 25. Brenton Newman, 1:20.96
