MORAN — Marmaton Valley Junior High’s volleyball teams swept four home matches Thursday.
The Wildcat A-team beat Altoona-Midway 25-15, 25-3. Lindsey McNeil served 15 points and Ashylynn Pinkerton had nine service points. Mackenzie Tynon served up six points followed by Tanna Lutz with five and Ruby Mann with two points.
The A-team notched a 25-17, 25-13 win over Thayer. Tynon served up eight points while McNeil and Pinkerton served up six points each. Lutz had five points served. Mann and Kyla Drake served three points each.
Marmaton Valley’s B-team beat Thayer 25-14, 25-15 led by Trinitee Gutierrez with 15 service points. Aubrey Ard had eight service points followed by Magie Stevenson with six, Megan Ensminger with two points and Nalea Alexander with one point.
The B-team downed Altoona-Midway 25-6, 25-11. Gutierrez served up 16 points and Alexander had seven service points. Misty Storrer served for four while Ensminger had three and Stevenson had two points. Emily Plaschka and Clara Boyd each had one point.
