UNIONTOWN — A strong second half propelled Marmaton Valley Junior High’s girls to a 30-14 win over Uniontown Tuesday.
The Wildcats were up 9-6 at halftime then outscored Uniontown 21-8 in the second half.
Mackenzie Tynon led the Wildcat A-team with 13 points. Lindsey McNeil added 11 points.
Kyla Drake scored three followed by Ruby Mann with two and Misty Storrer with one.
Uniontown won the B-team game 22-15. Drake scored five points and Brooklynn Newman had four. Scoring two points each were Storrer, Aubrey Ard and Trinitee Gutierrez.
The Marmaton Valley Junior High boys lost 33-16 to Uniontown in A-team action. Brady Newman fired in 11 points for the Wildcats.
Gage Adams added three and Dane Myers had two points.
Uniontown won the boys’ B-team game 24-22. Marmaton Valley was led by Chad Starliper’s 16 points. Cody Wilson scored six.
