MVJH compete at Oswego

The Marmaton Valley Junior High track and field team traveled to Oswego on Thursday.

Carissa Mattox led the way with a first-place finish in the discus and Jada Harris finish third in the shot put, setting a new school record with a distance of 34’8”.

Aly Ard finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles and sixth in the 3200.

Kamryn Boyd finished third and Cadience Johnson-Cook finished fifth in the 200.

Kaitlyn Drake finished fifth in the high jump.

The 4×200 relay team of Harris, Boyd, Becca Reiter and Brynn Newman finished fourth and the 4×400 relay team of Ard, Johnson-Cook, Mary Brown and Mallory Heim finished fifth.
