Iola High’s Drew Faulhaber wrapped up his senior baseball season on a high note, earning an All-Pioneer First Team spot.
When Faulhaber wasn’t starting at shortstop, he also pitched.
With his bat, he hit .317 with one home run and 18 RBIs. He led the Mustangs in RBIs and also in stolen bases, with 13 steals.
On the mound, Faulhaber had seven wins. He also had a 2.93 ERA with 27 strikeouts. Opponents hit .214 against him.

SOPHOMORE Ethan Scheibmeir put together a strong season to earn a spot on the All-Pioneer Second Team. Scheibmeir pitched and played catcher.
With his bat, he finished with a .352 average, knocked in eight RBIs, hit six doubles, one triple and had a home run. He also had three steals. As a pitcher, Scheibmeir led the team with 46 innings pitched. He had a 1.98 ERA and 5-2 record. He finished the season with 56 strikeouts.

ALTHOUGH Faulhaber and Scheibmeir were the only two Mustangs to make the All-Pioneer League teams, there were some notable Mustangs that put together solid seasons.
