Mustang wrestlers compete in Burlington Invitational

The Iola wrestling team sent two wrestlers to compete in the 27th annual Burlington Invitational wrestling tournament on Saturday.
Sophomore Casen Barker and freshman Dillon Reiter held down the fort for the varsity Mustangs.
Iola will be in action again on Friday when they travel to Labette County for a dual meet versus the Grizzlies and Erie.

145 pound
Casen Barker (1-2) scored zero team points.
Champ. Round 1 – Caleb Lisk of Mission Valley (11-8) won by fall over Barker (5:56)
Cons. Round 1 – Keric King of Coffeyville (1-2) won by fall over Baker (3:21)
152 pound
Dillon Reiter (3-5) scored zero team points.
Champ. Round 1 – Reiter (3-5) received a bye.
Quarterfinal – Jeyton Saunders of Remington (11-4) won by fall over Reiter (3:33)
Cons. Round 2 – Ethan Camp of Coffeyville (1-3) won by decision over Reiter (19-14)
