GARNETT — The Iola High volleyball team picked up a couple more wins at a tournament at Anderson County on Saturday.
The Mustangs (20-12) defeated Prairie View and Oskaloosa and lost to Independence twice as well as Anderson County.
Iola took down Prairie View in three sets, 26-24, 22-25 and 25-20.
Reese Curry registered a team-high 21 kills on the attack for Iola while Alana Mader had 12 kills. Elza Clift had a team-high one ace. Defensively, Jackie Fager went for a team-high seven total blocks while Mader had six blocks.
Clift had a team-high 34 digs while Mariah Jelinek notched 30 digs.
The Mustangs fell to Independence in two sets, 25-18 and 25-20.
Mader had a team-high 14 kills while Curry went for 10 kills offensively. Defensively, Lily Lohman had a team-high three blocks while Mader and Kaysin Crusinbery each had two blocks. Clift went for a team-high 15 digs while Curry went for 10 digs.
Iola beat Oskaloosa in two sets, 25-16 and 25-17.
Mader went for a team-high four kills while Crusinbery, Curry and Fager each had three kills. Jelinek had a team-high two aces. Defensively, Mader had a team-high three blocks. Clift recorded a team-high 11 digs while Crusinbery had 10 digs.
The Mustangs defeated Anderson County in two sets, 28-26 and 25-21.
Mader led the way offensively with a team-high 10 kills while also collecting a team-high three aces. Defensively, Mader and Lohman each had a team-high four blocks. Clift went for a team-high 11 digs.
Iola lost to Independence in two sets, 25-11 and 25-22.
Curry notched a team-high nine kills while Mader had the lone ace. Crusinbery and Lohman each had two blocks while Clift had a team-high 16 digs.
The Mustangs travel to Burlington on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
