Allen’s Adjaratou Mbaye has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Mbaye helped lead the Red Devils to a win over Hesston and averaged 11.6 points per game over the week.
Mbaye is shooting 70% from the field per game.
Mbaye has started 16 of the Red Devils’ 21 games this season and is averaging 25.6 minutes per game under first year coach Leslie Crane.
The Red Devils are 9-13 and host Kansas City Kansas Community College this weekend.
