YATES CENTER — Marmaton Valley volleyball was on the road Tuesday night and managed to win two-of-three matches.
They started with a three-set match with Yates Center.
Marmaton Valley won the first set 25-21 before letting Yates Center take the second set 25-23. Marmaton Valley won the match with a 25-11 third-set victory.
Kyla Drake led the Wildcats to the victory with 12 kills and 10 points on serve.
The Wildcats lost to Uniontown in straight-sets 25-19 and 25-14, but were able to respond with a victory over Chetopa to end the night.
Marmaton Valley topped Chetopa in straight-sets 25-21 and 25-18.
Drake was again the team leader in kills with six.
