Marmaton Valley softball continued its hot start on Monday when the Wildcats hosted and swept Altoona-Midway.
The Wildcats won 17-2 in three innings in game one and 14-1 in five innings in game two.
Senior Karlie Stephens got the win in game one, allowing two runs (one earned) on a hit and two walks with four strikeouts.
Kayla Ard got the nod in game two and threw a no-hitter while allowing one unearned run on three walks. She struck out six.
In game one, Ard led the way at the plate with three hits, including a home run. Stephens had two hits and Kaylas sister, Aly, also hit a home run.
Patricia Outlan and Kayla Ard each had two hits in game two.

Marmaton Valley is set to travel to St. Paul this afternoon if field conditions allow. As of press time, the games had not been canceled.
