The Marmaton Valley Junior High track team competed at Jayhawk-Linn on Thursday.
For the eighth-grade boys, Quincy Adams finished third in the 75-meter hurdles and fifth in the 1600.
Dillon Mullinex was the lone placer for the seventh-grade boys after a fifth-place finish in the 200-meter dash.
The Wildcat eighth grade girls finished fourth overall led by Jada Harris who finished first in the 75-meter hurdles and fourth in the shot put.
Carissa Mattox finished second in the discus, Kamryn Boyd finished fourth in the 200 meters, Cadience Johnson-Cook finished fifth in the 200 meters, Ally Ard finished fourth in the 3200 meters and the medley relay of Harris, Boyn, Cook and Ard took fourth.
The seventh-grade girls were led by the medley team of Kaitlyn Drake, Brynn Newman, Roslyn Houk and Tayven Sutton who finished fourth.
Individually, Newman finished fifth in the 1600 meters, Drake finished third in the long jump and sixth in the 100 meters and Houk finished sixth in the long jump.
