LE ROY — Southern Coffey County High ran into a buzzsaw Friday night.
Visiting Lebo High exploded for 30 points in the second quarter to win 46-0 over the Titan football squad.
The loss drops Southern Coffey County 902 in Kansas Eight Man Division I, District 3 play.
Lebo held the advantage across the stat sheet, outgaining the Titans 260 total yards to 89 and forcing two SCC turnovers.
The Wolves led 16-0 after one quarter. The 30-point outburst in the second period ended the game via Kansas eight-man mercy rules.
Dusty Watts led the Titans with 34 yards on 12 carries and three yards on two receptions, the only two completions from Southern Coffey County quarterback Wes Callahan. Watts and Tre Copeland shared the team lead with eight tackles apiece.
Copeland recovered a Lebo fumble.
Southern Coffey County travels to Burlingame next Friday.
