Crest High’s baseball team has run roughshod over its opponents so far this season, rolling to a 15-1 record in dominating fashion.
Turns out the Lancer junior varsity squad is nothing to sneeze at, either.
Crest’s JV squad took both games of a doubleheader this week against Oswego, 14-4 and and 15-0.
Rogan Weir drove in three runs on three hits, including a double, while Jack White had a single and double with an RBI in Game 1.
Brayden Goodell added a single and a run, Brody Hobbs singled and scored twice, Zander Dickerson scored three times, Tucker Yochum had two RBIs and a run, Karter Miller singled, Ryan Golden scored twice, Logan Kistner had an RBI and run, Bryson Goodell singled with an RBI and a run, and Andrew McAdam had a run.
Yochum, Golden and Kistner shared pitching duties, striking out 12 and allowing one hit over five innings.
Golden had two hits, including a double, with an RBI and two runs. Karter Miller singled twice with an RBI and run, Goodell doubled with two runs, White had a single and RBI. Ksitner scored once, Goodell twice. Rogan Weir singled with three runs and two RBIs.
Hobbs allowed two hits over three innings of work with two strikeouts. Weir pitched a scoreless inning, allowing a hit.
